Teacher Appreciation Week

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have had a really great team so far during Hayden’s time in school. They have to work extra hard with my little guy and they have all had the utmost patience with him (and with me and my 1,000 questions).

Regardless if your child is special needs or not, teachers are a special kind of wonderful and they work so hard to take care of our kids every day.

Teacher Appreciation Week is a time to give back and spoil them a little. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to show your children’s teachers how much you appreciate them and recognize all that they do. Don’t forget the other important instructors in your kid’s life like therapists, librarians, art teachers, etc. They deserve a little spoiling too!

I wrote a recap last year with all the cute little gifts Hayden and I put together for his teachers, and you can check that out here. You can also check out my Pinterest page for more ideas. Of course there are times that the budget may not allow for extras, so in my opinion, one of the best gifts you can give is your time. Whether it’s volunteering in the classroom, bringing in extra boxes of tissue or hand sanitizer (thank you Publix BOGO sales), or taking items home to cut out in your free time, there is definitely something you can do to show how much you appreciate all the hard work your kid’s teachers put in.
